AG1 is a once-daily powdered supplement that combines a multivitamin, minerals, prebiotics and probiotics, antioxidants, and whole-food ingredients into a single scoop mixed with water. It is third-party tested and NSF Certified for Sport®, meaning an independent lab verifies that what is on the label is what is in the container. That verification is not standard in the supplement industry, and it is one of the main reasons we chose it.
What it supports*
- Nutrient replenishment — filling common gaps in everyday diets
- Prebiotics and probiotics — inulin and a live culture blend
- Energy production — B vitamins supporting normal energy metabolism
- Immune health — vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D
Why we are sharing it
Both of us take AG1 daily, and have for some time. Between clinical work, young children, and the days when meals happen standing up, it is a practical way to keep a nutritional floor under a busy schedule. Patients ask us regularly what we personally use, so we are answering that question directly rather than being vague about it.
This is not a replacement for food. Vegetables, protein, and fiber remain the foundation of metabolic and bone health, and nothing in a canister changes that. AG1 is a supplement to a good diet, not a substitute for one.

A few cautions
Talk with us before starting if you take levothyroxine or other thyroid medication — the calcium and iodine content can affect absorption, so timing matters. Also check with us first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking a GLP-1 medication, on blood thinners, or managing kidney disease. AG1 is not appropriate for everyone, and we would rather review it with you than have you guess.
