Emily Nosova, MD
Dr. Emily Nosova is an experienced and regarded board certified endocrinologist in New York City. Dr. Nosova graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She pursued her residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, where she also received a certification in Women’s Health. She completed a specialty fellowship in Endocrinology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Nosova’s scope of practice encompasses general endocrinology. Additionally, she has honed expertise in several specific conditions, including endocrine disorders that affect fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, perimenopause and menopause, thyroid disorders, bone disease, transgender care, and metabolic weight management. She also has unique expertise in providing endocrine care for cancer survivors with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

Prior to starting her independent practice in Midtown, Dr. Nosova was an Assistant Professor in Endocrinology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She continues to teach medical trainees in Endocrinology through her role as a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Chiefly a clinician, Dr. Nosova’s focus is predominantly on patient care, but her impact extends beyond the exam room. She has authored educational chapters in Women’s Health for several editions of the preeminent Internal Medicine textbook, Harrison’s. Her expert opinion has been sought for endocrine-related topics in national publications and media platforms, including ESPN, AARP, Business Insider and SELF Magazine.
Dr. Nosova pursued the field of endocrinology for its comprehensive nature. She was drawn to understanding the holistic communication between the body’s critical glands and organs and learning to care for the whole person. She is recognized for her empathetic care and warm communication style with her patients and colleagues.

Irina Nosova brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, integrative health training, and decades of leadership experience to her multifaceted role as office manager, nutrition consultant, and exercise therapy specialist.
Irina earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific and has more than twenty‑five years of experience as a physical therapist, clinic owner, and director in San Francisco. Her clinical focus includes women’s health, postpartum rehabilitation, bone health, and strength conditioning, with a long-standing commitment to evidence‑based, functional movement principles.
In addition to her physical therapy background, Irina is a certified nutrition consultant through Bauman College. She provides individualized guidance on whole‑foods nutrition, targeted nutrients, and sustainable lifestyle practices that support long‑term health and well‑being.

Irina is also an experienced fitness professional with multiple certifications in Pilates and yoga, including Pilates for Rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates. With over a decade of experience as a group exercise instructor, she has developed her own effective class formats that integrate physical therapy knowledge with functional Pilates and yoga methodologies.
Across all her work, Irina draws on a wide range of therapeutic and training modalities, applying her extensive education and experience to support clients in building strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies.

Nosova Endocrinology was created to fill a gap in NYC endocrine care: long hospital wait times on one end, and costly, self-pay concierge practices on the other. Our hybrid model provides the attention, time, and personalization of a boutique practice, while still accepting Medicare and most commercial insurance plans. Located at 57 West 57th Street, we care for the full spectrum of endocrine conditions in an environment designed for comfort and accessibility. To support long-term wellness and preventive care, we also offer holistic nutrition consultations and musculoskeletal evaluations along with personalized exercise recommendations.
